This three-part recorder method by John Pitts comes to you from England, and has become a popular method of recorder study around the world. It is intended for youngsters, beginning at approximately the age of seven. Full explanations of all of the information is provided, and no previous recorder or any other music knowledge is assumed. These three books are beautifully illustrated, and a wide variety of songs are included in each of them.
 
Now that the student is ready to move on to "Book Three", many more notes (sharps and flats), alternative fingerings, syncopation, rumba rhythm, and jazzy pieces can be found. Songs by the classical masters are included, along with a variety of songs from foreign lands.
